Ibiza Rocks is now on the hunt for a new sponsor, and has appointed sponsorship agency Big Fish to sign up brand partners for the coming summer's launch.

The youth brand, set up to offer alternative live events to the Ibiza club landscape, has since expanded into a branded hotel destination in Ibiza and youth-focused travel packages.

Sony Ericsson, which has used sponsorship as a means of communicating with young music fans, promoted last summer's gig frenzy with a three-month campaign through NME and XFM.

This year will be the fifth Ibiza Rocks festival, which has seen support from bands including Artic Monkeys, Kasabian, Mark Ronson, Faithless, Mika, The Streets, Dizzee Rascal and The Enemy. A fourth series of the Channel 4 Ibiza Rocks series has also been commissioned.

Andy McKay, Ibiza Rocks Brand owner, said Ibiza Rocks is ‘one of the few brands that can connect credibly with the increasingly sophisticated under 25 audience'.
