According to Jonathan Emmins, director of Louder! The Tailor's parent company, Irving felt he could not give the agency the focus it needs at present.

Irving founded the agency in April 2011 and has led campaigns for clients including Wagamama, Fred Perry and Benefit during the past 18 months.

Emmins said: "Irv had an amazing 18 months driving the business forward, but understandably any start-up business takes an enormous amount of time and energy. With his current situation, he doesn’t feel he can give the agency the focus it needs at present. The door has been left firmly open."

Irving has previously worked for agencies including Sledge, RPM and Albert. He was last seen on eventmagazine.co.uk giving his take on the week's news in
