I-level recruits ex-Carat chief to run specialist consultancy arm

Former Carat digital media chief Jeremy Swinfen Green has been recruited by interactive agency i-level's new digital consultancy and research division, i-level generator.

Swinfen Green has been named joint director of consultancy at the arm, alongside Matthew Pitt.

The duo join from The Site Clinic, which they founded in spring 2001 to measure the effectiveness of digital media as a communication tool.

The agency was acquired by i-level a month ago.

Swinfen Green was formerly director of ad operations at Emap Digital.

Prior to that, he was group digital media director at Carat Group.

Pitt was previously managing partner at digital media firm Leap Communications.

Prior to that, he was media director at global advertising network Ammirati Puris Lintas.

Two unnamed clients - a national newspaper and a FTSE 100 company - have already signed up to i-level generator.

The division will address the challenges faced by advertisers using digital media, including 3G technology and maximising online revenue streams.

It will also offer research into consumer behaviour and consultancy services on web site efficiency and auditing.

Charlie Dobres, chief executive at i-level, said: "We can now offer clients a complete range of digital marketing, and our entire 34 staff will work across the company to offer consultancy and research services."
