The car manufacturer will become the exclusive supplier of official vehicles and buses for the football cup competition.
As a member of the Uefa Eurotop commercial programme, the Hyundai and Kia brands will also be involved as the official automotive partner for the European Under-21 championships in 2007 and 2009; the women's European Football Championship 2009; and the European Futsal Championship in 2007 and 2009.
Phillippe Margraff, chief operating officer of Uefa marketing and media management, said: "We are delighted to have the Hyundai and Kia brands involved in Uefa Euro 2008 and to continue our long standing relationship that has already delivered excellent results over the two previous Uefa Euro tournaments."
Uefa and Hyundai have already worked together in partnership recently when Hyundai delivered a fleet of vehicles that were used at both the 2000 and 2004 championships to transport players, officials and guests around the various venues.
The partnership was announced at a ceremony in Zilina, Slovakia, at the opening of the first European Kia plant.
Moo Koo Chung, Hyundai-Kia automotive group chairman, said: "We are honoured to be in a fortunate position to sponsor the Uefa Euro 2008 tournament as part of our Eurotop partnership agreement with Uefa. This sponsorship, fittingly signed on this historic day for Kia Motors, will give a boost to our brand awareness, not only here in Europe but also among the huge audience of football fans throughout the world."
