Scarlett Johansson and Henry Cavill, two silver-screen superheroes from competing movie franchises, feature in the new ad for Huawei's P9 phone.

Johansson, who portrays Black Widow in Marvel’s Avengers films, and Cavill, who plays DC Comics’ Superman, try to outdo each other in a digital duel of photographic
one-upmanship. The ad, which was created by Havas London, broke during an episode of Britain’s Got Talent on ITV on 23 May. The commercial was filmed on location in Shanghai. Baillie Walsh directed the ad through RSA, while Mario Testino was brought in to photograph the accompanying press campaign.
Maxus handled the media planning and buying.
