J Walter Thompson created the TV spot, which is set in a Nova Scotian fishing village. After her parents buy an empty plot of land, a girl writes and delivers invitations for a house-warming party that evening to her new neighbours. Some scoff at the invitation but, thanks to a group effort, the parents manage to erect the shell of a house by nightfall and the little girl’s party is a success.
