
Cosmetics brand MAC will provide the makeup, while Aveda products will be used to create various red carpet ready hairstyles inside a BAFTA-style suite.
Those who take part will have their makeover filmed using a timelapse camera. This footage will then be sped up into a short gif which will be shown as a projection inside the store’s BAFTA-themed window.
As part of its promotion, House of Fraser will also be giving away two tickets to the awards show, which is taking place at Royal Festival Hall in London on 8 May.
To be in with a chance of winning, shoppers will need to share their makeover gif on social media using the hashtag #BAFTAstyle.
House of Fraser stores taking part include Glasgow, Manchester and outlets inside the Metrocentre and Bluewater shopping centres.
House of Fraser is the title sponsor of the British Academy Television Awards for the second year running. Other 2016 partners include EE, American Airlines and Grolsch.
