Ogilvy & Mather will re-enter this year's Cannes awards after the
jury president, Jeff Goodby, agreed to ban the "blacklist" instigated
last year by the worldwide creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi, Bob
Isherwood. Neil French, the worldwide creative director for Ogilvy &
Mather, said: "We are now convinced that the jury will concentrate
solely on judging the work that has been entered, rather than searching
for the 'ungodly'."
