Emap Esprit has appointed Valery McConnell as the new editor of Yours magazine. McConnell, who joined Emap in 1997 as the editor of Pregnancy & Birth magazine, takes over from Neil Patrick who retires in April. The women's weekly is expected to increase its circulation to more than 370,000 in the next Audit Bureau of Circulations figures.
