Horton sisters leave Euro RSCG to accept AMV BBDO job offer

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO has hired Bonnie and Charlotte Horton, the twin-sister creative team behind the BTAA-winning ad, to promote the use of smoke alarms.

The Hortons have worked at Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper since February 2000, following their degrees at Camberwell Art College, originally joining under the stewardship of the creative director, Nigel Rose. They will leave the agency to work on a range of accounts at AMV at the beginning of October.

While at Euro RSCG the team worked on the Cadbury and COI business as well as the agency's Ken Livingston account.

Bonnie said: "We've had a fantastic time here, and we're grateful for the opportunities, but when you get a call from Peter Souter, you don't ignore it. We expect to be very busy in the next few months."

Euro RSCG's chairman, Mark Wnek, said: "I am speechless with sadness at losing the most brilliant and dedicated young creatives I have ever come across in my career."
