The new partnership comes after investments have been made at the venue, including the construction of a marquee pavilion within Speke Hall’s grounds. It has the capacity for 200 people, features a terraced drinks deck and has been built in response to the growing demand for additional event facilities at the property.
Horseradish, part of the Chester Race Company portfolio, will be delivering a range of event services at the venue including sales, catering and operations. The company said a number of bookings have already been taken for the pavilion, which opened for business this month.
Speke Hall’s other event space, the Tudor Great Hall, can accommodate up to 60 people.
Simon Osborne, general manager of Speke Hall, said: "We’re delighted to be working with Horseradish on this exciting venture. Speke is an iconic building, enjoyed by many thousands of visitors each year and this new partnership will enable us to increase the opportunities for events on property, in particular functions which involve large numbers of people."
Angus Wilson, head of catering at Horseradish, added: "The news that we have been appointed to organise exclusive hospitality events at Speke Hall marks a significant addition to our growing portfolio.
"The construction of the new marquee pavilion is particularly exciting as we begin to plan for the 2015 event season and we look forward to hosting many events throughout our partnership. We’re delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most recognised brands and delivering events for private and corporate clients at such an iconic venue."
