LONDON (Brand Republic) - Hoover is to go to court in July to appeal against October鈥檚 High Court decision, which found the company guilty of infringing Dyson鈥檚 vacuum cleaner patent.
Hoover vice-chairman Alberto Bertali said that he was confident of winning the appeal. The company claims that its Triple Vortex design is based on patented technology developed by Cranfield University, and Bertali said his company had not copied the 鈥渃yclonic technology鈥 design used in Dyson鈥檚 bagless vacuum cleaner.
The appeal is expected to be heard in the last week of July.
