Honda launches 'customer' podcast

Car manufacturer Honda is launching a podcast for its customer magazine.

It is designed to extend the magazine brand, Dream, which is published by River Publishing. The podcast has been produced in a partnership between River Publishing and London radio station LBC and relationship marketing agency Hickin Slade & Partners.

The release, available at honda. co.uk/i-dream, lasts for 15 minutes and includes a selection of three-minute features that listeners can select depending upon their interest.

April's podcast includes an interview with a man who became a rock star in six months, customer feedback on Honda's new I-shift technology, the development of a new brand of eco-homes and a feature about Honda's involvement in a pan-African motorcycle rally for charity. Listeners also have the opportunity to win an iPod.

Honda's customer dialogue manager Vicky Mason said: "A key priority for Honda was to make the most of the technology available, the website is a huge growth area for us at Honda and the more we can drive people to the site the better."
