Honda dealers to screen F1 races

Honda is to exploit its Formula One ties by broadcasting live screenings of Grand Prix races in more than 200 UK dealerships.

The car company, which has been involved in the sport for more than 20 years and provides the engines for the BAR F1 team, will start by screening the opening two races of the season, the first of which is next weekend.

Radio and local press ads by Wieden & Kennedy, together with dealer promotions organised by Hicklin Slade, will encourage potential Honda buyers to watch the races at dealerships.

Dealers will also contact their customer bases to invite existing owners.

Those who attend will have the chance to win a trip to any Grand Prix in the world, as well as tickets to the British Grand Prix.

The F1 season begins with the Australian Grand Prix on 6 March.
