HomeAway, the rival to Airbnb that differentiates itself by only renting whole apartments, is offering people the chance to stay in the Eiffel Tower during the Uefa Euro 2016 tournament.
The campaign, which was created by Saatchi & Saatchi, is redolent of Airbnb’s marketing, which has included competitions to win stays in a recreation of a Vincent van Gogh painting. HomeAway’s activation will be promoted online and through outdoor advertising, and the campaign also includes a partnership with Facebook.
