Holden Pearmain named fastest growing private research company

LONDON - Holden Pearmain is the only research agency to make it on to The Sunday Times' Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100, the league table of the UK's fastest-growing privately held companies.

Holden Pearmain achieved 87% compound annual growth rate over the last three years, growing from 拢705,000 in 2001 to 拢4.6m in 2004, with more than 50% of its research generated abroad. 

Holden Pearmain is also the second market research agency to have made the list to date, and the highest placed, ranking at 48.

The UK-based quantitative and qualitative agency was co-founded by former TNS deputy managing director David Holden and FMCG researcher David Pearmain in 2000.

The agency, which specialises in advanced analytics providing research into the consumer electronics, pharma, healthcare, financial, IT, media and telecoms sectors, has worked for major blue-chip clients including HSBC, O2, BP, Five and GlaxoSmithKline.

The final 100 companies were selected from more than 1m private UK businesses.
