HMV is returning to cinema advertising to promote its back catalogue of Oscar-winning films on DVD. The ad, by Bolder Creative, features clips from titles such as Titanic, Gladiator and Gone With The Wind and is accompanied by Aerosmith’s Dream On. The spot’s release coincides with the movie awards season, which culminates in The Oscars on 2 March. The work was written and art directed by Chris McCrae. The7stars, which was responsible for media planning and buying, arranged the exclusive broadcast deal with Digital Cinema Media.
