The new design was created by Glasgow-based agency and is being used on Highland Spring's sparkling, still and kids' bottled water.
It features the Highland Spring tartan rendered in watercolours against a plain background, and a hand-drawn illustration of the Ochil Hills spring in Perthshire where the water comes from.
It also features the words 'Drawn from Organic Land' on the front of the label. The new packaging will appear on shelves later this month.
Sally Stanley, marketing director of Highland Spring, said: "Our new packaging perfectly reflects the unique qualities of our brand. Highland Spring is dedicated to protecting and nurturing its organic catchment area to ensure our water is of the highest quality and the new label design reinforces this commitment."
Highland Spring believes its ethical credentials are a contributing factor to the brand's growth - especially while other water brands are seeing sales shrink.
It is the biggest British bottled water brand in the UK according to the 2008 Bottled Water Market Report, published by Zenith, and overall it is second only to Evian, with Volvic in third place.
Stanley said: "Our goal of becoming the number one brand in the UK is getting nearer and nearer. It looks set to be a busy few months as we also prepare to unveil a new brand advertising campaign and website."
