Hello! appoints Eve's O'Donnell

O'Donnell, who will also oversee commercial duties across hello magazine.com and lead a team of about seven staff, will join the commercial department on Monday and report to Ben Davey, associate publisher at Hello!

She will replace Ruth Bellamy, who after eight years has joined Hachette Filipacchi UK as ad director of Psychologies magazine.

Separately, Haymarket has closed Eve after failing to find a buyer. The majority of Eve's 56 staff have been made redundant, although as many as 10 have been redeployed within the group, which also owns Media Week.
