
Hegarty, a co-founder of Bartle Bogle Hegarty, who was knighted in 2007 for his services to advertising, will chair the judging process in August and September.
The winners will be announced at London’s Grosvenor House on 23 October.
The Big Awards, the UK’s pre-eminent scheme to reward commercial creativity, are open for entry.
Categories include the best campaigns in an array of sectors and embrace digital and interactive techniques as well as traditional film and poster craft. The deadline for submissions is 5 July.
