Healthcare company Thriva creates giant fatberg for health check reminder

Thriva, the healthcare company, has created a 12ft lump of real fat to show how much weight people are gaining in the UK.

The activation, created by Tin Man, is designed to "shock" people into thinking about how good their internal health is.

It was produced by event agency KGA and was located on London’s Southbank.

Hamish Grierson, co-founder of Thriva, said: "Even though most people see the benefits of a regular check-in on their health, very few actually do it because it’s such a pain to organise."
