HDM beats three to win Bourne Leisure £7m ad assignment

Bourne Leisure has appointed HDM to handle its 拢7 million through-the-line Haven Holidays account.

The agency won the business after a pitch against Joshua, Quiet Storm and Mustoes. It was previously held by Publicis.

Haven, which spends around 拢5 million above the line, plans to launch a TV campaign starting in December. HDM will create this as well as support activity.

Advertising will target families across the UK in a bid to persuade them to holiday at Haven's 21 coastal resorts. The holiday company attracts 2.5 million visitors a year.

Bourne Leisure is also holding a review of its media planning and buying account, held by Mediaedge:cia. A result is due in the next few weeks.

The company also owns Butlins, Warner and British Holidays. It also offers holidaymakers the chance to own their own caravans through a scheme called Owners Exclusive Programme at 36 holiday parks.
