Stimpson leaves Haymarket after 18 years resulting in the reorganisation of his division, which has been split and divided into Haymarket Business Media's Brand Media and Professional Media divisions.
The meetings and incentives and management and IT portfolios, which includes Promotions and Incentives magazine and Management Today, will become part of the group run by Rufus Olins, managing director of Haymarket Brand Media.
The other titles affected, the print and packaging group, which includes Print Week, will now report to Stephen Farish, managing director of Haymarket Professional Media.
Following this restructuring, Haymarket Business Media now comprises four divisions -- Brand Media, Business Solutions, Medical and Professional.
Martin Durham, chairman and managing director of HBM, said: "These changes enable us to streamline the business and increase our operating efficiencies across a wider portfolio of products, and I am confident in the growth opportunities this new operating model will provide us."
As well as those changes Durham also announced additions to the HBM board. Nic Bogs, managing director of Haymarket Germany, now reports to Durham and becomes a member of the Business Media board while Stephen Farish continues as a director on the German board.
Tim Waldron, managing director of Haymarket's Asian business based in Hong Kong, also becomes a member of the HBM board.
Durham said their board appointments reflect the growing importance of HBM's international presence as well as its individual leadership of successful local businesses.
