The network will consist of five Havas-owned design shops, Euro RSCG C&O, Euro RSCG Portugal, Conran Design Group, BETC Design and W&Cie, and will initially have a presence in ten cities, including London, New York, Paris, Madrid and Sao Paulo.
It will aim to offer brands a full spectrum of design capabilities, including brand management, brand creation and promotion, and already has the support of international clients Tesco, Peugeot and Santander.
In recent years, the five individual agencies behind the Havas Design+ network have been responsible for a number of high-profile design projects, including the branding for the 2004 UEFA European Football Championship and the branding for Kofi Annan's ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 for Climate Justice.
David Jones, the global chief executive of Havas Worldwide, said: "Design has increasingly become a defining element of the success of some of the world's largest brands.
"The launch of Havas Design+ is an incredibly exciting opportunity for us to bring together some of the world's leading design companies and unite them under a powerful global umbrella."
