TalkSport will be commentating live on all 64 games during the tournament and aims to deliver more hours of dedicated World Cup analysis and debate than any other UK broadcaster.
The Spurs manager will give his opinions on England's preparations, and then fly to South Africa to provide match analysis and co-host a number of the station's World Cup phone-ins and debates.
Redknapp said: "The way England qualified for the tournament must make them one of the favourites. On their day they can beat anyone, so just maybe this could be our year and it's great that TalkSport will be with England every step of the way. I'm a massive fan of the station and to be part of its plans for the World Cup is an exciting prospect."
TalkSport's World Cup line-up already includes Liverpool and former England defender Jamie Carragher, who will co-present the drive-time show with regular anchor Adrian Durham for the duration of the World Cup.
Moz Dee, programme director of TalkSport, said: "Harry is involved in the game at its highest level and on a day-to-day basis, so having him as a member of the squad in South Africa is a real coup for the station.
"His reputation for delivering frank and honest answers to straight questions and giving incisive and critical opinions on the game, has made him a fan favourite, irrespective of who you support."
