Hallmark takes on Quiet Storm

Hallmark Channel has hired Quiet Storm to handle its off-air advertising and brand positioning.

The appointment follows Quiet Storm's win of Hallmark's sister channel Movies 24 earlier this year. The two channels are owned by Sparrowhawk Media, which is chaired by former Five chief executive David Elstein.

Quiet Storm will create a positioning that will be adopted across its global network. The branding will emphasise Hallmark's offering of drama programming, including long-running Christian family drama 7th Heaven, paramedic show Saved and US post-nuclear-disaster hit Jericho.
