Halewood, which acquired the import, distribution and marketing rights for the brand last December, plans to widen the off-trade distribution of the beer, which is currently sold predominantly in Chinese restaurants, fashionable bars and the Threshers off-licence chain.
It has hired An Agency Called England to link Tsingtao to events such as the Chinese New Year parade in London, the running of the torch at this year's Beijing Olympics, and Manchester's Dragon Boat Race in June.
The agency will handle consumer and trade advertising, with digital work including a revamped website.
Tsingtao accounts for almost 80% of beer exports from China.
