Gyro continues expansion with two hirings

LONDON - Integrated marketing agency Gyro is continuing with its aggressive expansion plans with two new appointments.

Paul Astbury has been hired as senior designer, from design agency Turnbull Ripley Design. Before this, he worked at Minale Tattersfield & Partners, where he produced work for clients including The Imperial War Museum, Royal Armouries Museum, NatWest and San Pellegrino.

Rachel Day joins Gyro as account executive from Newcastle-based agency Ravensworth, where she worked across accounts including Procter & Gamble, Northumbria Tourist Board and Abbeywell. Prior to that, she graduated in marketing from Northumbria University.

Gyro announced its expansion plans in December in response to account wins from Adobe, Tate & Lyle, Conrad Hotel and Sun Microsystems.
