Guardian Unlimited has signed a commercial partnership with eBay UK
which will see eBay become the network's auction partner.
It is the first e-commerce deal to be brokered as part of Guardian
Unlimited's new commercial strategy, which focuses on working with a
limited number of key partners. These include shopping site DealTime,
books Bol.com and betting site Blue Square.
The deal enables users to search for items on Guardian sites via eBay
splash pages.
EBay will be promoted using clickable buttons, search boxes and text
links across the network.
