For the next six months, economy-class passengers on all Virgin Atlantic flights will be served Gu Minipuds Little Pots of Chocolate with lunch and dinner.
The activity will be supported by commercials for Gu that will run during the in-flight entertainment on all Virgin Atlantic flights. Further sampling is planned for next year.
The Virgin tie-up follows recent expansion by Gu, which launched an Italian-style ice-cream range last month.
Earlier this month, Gu ran its first cinema advertising as part of a four-month campaign to promote its product portfolio.
The cinema activity, which uses the strapline 'Chocolate puds for grown-ups', will run until 21 September in 219 Pearl & Dean screens in London and the South-East.
