Dairy, donuts and Flight of the Conchords make for a seductive combination.
More than two decades ago, then-unknown director Michael Bay debuted an explosive campaign for The California Milk Processor Board called 'Got Milk?', conceived by Goodby Silverstein & Partners.
That director later created bombastic blockbusters such as Armageddon and Transformers, but GS&P's 'Got Milk?' had its own meteoric effect on pop culture.
The latest ad by the milk advocate is a trippy film highlighting the beverage's pairing with donuts, cakes and other sweet treats.
The soundtrack may sound familiar to fans of Flight of the Conchords, New Zealand's fourth-most-popular guitar-based digi-bongo a capella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo (according to the band).
Further creative efforts in the campaign will culminate in a Super Bowl 50 spot in February.
