Grolsch launching third ad in campaign

Grolsch is launching its third ad in its 'Not ready yet' campaign

on June 8. Created by The Leith Agency and called 'Simian Bride', the

execution is part of the brand's pounds 10m marketing campaign for 2001.

It opens with a traditional wedding scene. When the congregation is

asked if they know any reason why the couple should not be joined in

holy matrimony, Grolsch's Dutch spokesman, Ronald, says: "Shhtopp! This

bride is not ready yet!" He pulls off the bride's veil to reveal a

chimp. Ronald tells onlookers that the bride needs time to evolve just

as Grosch takes time to brew. The ad closes with the strapline:

'Grolsch - we only let you drink it when it's ready'.
