Laing leaves on 2 August with Griggs taking over responsibilities.
Griggs has previously worked in event management on shows including Money Saving Live in conjunction with the News of The World, and The Race on Sky One. Most recently she was a researcher working on live TV shows Too Many Cooks, Trisha and Loose Women.
"The operations manager role is critical to ensure we deliver value to members through the organisation of high quality creative and educational activity as well as managing all our member services," said ISES president Richard Foulkes.
