Green Flag campaign mimics car repair manual

LONDON - RBS Insurance-owned brand Green Flag has rolled out a new integrated campaign to improve consumer perceptions of car breakdown call-out times.

The campaign, featuring TV, press, direct marketing and digital elements, mimics the traditional appearance of car maintenance manuals. The use of exploded view diagrams and line drawing aims to promote the expertise of Green Flag staff.

The TV execution shows a Green Flag mechanic arriving promptly at the scene of a broken down car, while a voiceover explains the brand has an average national response time of 30 minutes.

The ad was created by media agency MediaCom's in-house advertising team, MediaCom Create.
