Produced by Opus Business Media, the event will "showcase the best in creativity and ingenuity from around the world" and be held in the Lawrence Hall from 29 September to 1 October.

Exhibitors include both lone inventors and inventor groups, intellectual property support organisations, government agencies, universities and creative arts representatives.

The 1851 exhibition was responsible for the creation of the Crystal Palace, where it was held, and was a showcase of Britain's technological advances during the industrial revolution and the expansion of the British Empire.
