Bednash is no stranger to breaking moulds. Back in the early 1990s, he was shaking up the ad industry at HHCL, before he shook it up some more with the launch of Michaelides & Bednash, a strategic communications company.
So, his form as a bit of a maverick means he should fit right in at Google, where he took up the European marketing role earlier this year. It’s his first big job client-side, and he’s been a bit quiet since he joined, but we expect interesting things from this thoughtful, creative man. Watch this space.
