
Taking place at The Vaults, the theatre production will see ticketholders embark on a journey through the abandoned railway tunnels beneath Waterloo station. There will be no seats; rather the audience will be required to move around the space.
While the show is described as fun, individuals can expect to be caught off guard, with numerous jumps and surprises in store. They can expect to move through a series of dark and unfamiliar spaces.
The show will include references to a range of Goosebumps novels, such as: Say Cheese, And Die, The Blob That Ate Everyone, The Haunted Mask, Stay Out Of The Basement, One Day In Horrorland and Night Of The Living Dummy.
Two shows will be available – the 90-minute Goosebumps The Show for individuals aged 12 and over, and the 50-minute Goosebumps Kids installment for 5-11 year olds.
Those who aren’t familiar with the novels are nevertheless encouraged to come along – the productions are inspired by RL Stine’s stories, however they have been written for everyone to understand.
This production is a world premiere and exclusive to London. Tickets went on sale yesterday (24 November) and are available online.
A film adaptation of Goosebumps featuring Jack Black is set to premiere next February.
