Both services are available through BlackBerry's internet service, but are difficult to navigate or manage because of the screen size and compatibility for home computers.
The search giant's navigation programme, Google Local, launched last Tuesday and its instant messaging service, Google Talk, will be unveiled later this year.
The new applications will allow users to find directions or relay message on the handsets without logging online. Both will be available to BlackBerry users free of charge, subject to any service rates.
Google's director of product management, Deep Nishar, said: "As technology converges, consumers are becoming increasingly more connected and are requiring access to information at home, at work and on the road."
