Golley Slater wins Euronics contract

European electrical goods stores network Euronics has appointed Golley Slater as its digital agency, following a two-way pitch.

The agency was originally chosen by Euronics in September 2005 to handle its 拢3m creative advertising and media buying account.

Golley Slater plans to make the Euronics website a pan-European hub for information on electrical goods, as part of its 拢150,000 win. The firm currently owns 8,900 stores across the Continent.

Its site was previously centred around a store locator and is set to be adapted to enable users to find out where they can buy individual brands and products.

The agency also plans to bring the company's existing customer advice technology service, available in a third of its stores, online over the next few months.
