
Craigen is the network’s global executive creative director for Volkswagen, based in the London office. He is leaving to pursue new opportunities.
He joined DDB in 1990 as a junior copywriter and by 2005 was made executive creative director. His creative highlights include 2005's "singin' in the rain" for VW, 2007's "squeezy" for Marmite and 2008's "Wallace & Gromit" for Harvey Nichols.
In 2012 he became global executive creative director for Volkswagen across the DDB network. He has also been chair of the DDB’s European creative council since 2011 and as a global executive committee member since 2012.
Craigen said: "Back in 1990, I joined what I believed to be the best agency in the world, BMP DDB Needham. Now, just shy of 25 years later, I find myself leaving what I believe to be the best agency in the world, Adam & Eve/DDB.
"I've had an incredible time here, worked with some of the nicest, funniest most talented people in the business. But now it is time to go and find some exciting new challenges outside of the world of Paddington."
