The event, Snapchat Party DXB, took place on Friday (27 May) at the Dubai Mall Ice Rink, and was devised by agency Linkviva, which was responsible for the entire execution of the project on behalf of its client Emaar Malls, the developer of Dubai Mall.

The event, organised by Platinum Records and MBC Group, the largest media conglomerate in the Middle East and North Africa region, was hosted by Kuwait's Sheikh Majed Al-Sabah and was attended by around 3,000 guests.

The first of-its-kind to launch in Dubai, the event aimed to connect Snapchat users across the GCC (Gulf Coopoeration Council) region together, fronted by influencers and music artists, communicating in one universal language.

The evening featured keynote speakers and live music performances by regional artists, connecting GCC countries through music and social media.

The event also highlighted several success stories from the region, showcasing those who have made careers out of using Snapchat.
