In partnership with agency Mass Appeal, the exhibition – named #ArtTheThrone – took place at the Angel Orensanz Center in New York.
Inside the space attendees could view five different pieces based on the show's previous series'.
Artists involved included illustrator Marcos Chin, who created an illuminated animation of character Brienne of Tarth.
David Torres and Davey Detai from LA's Cyrcle created an upside-down giant crown – symbolising the show's power struggles – which visitors could walk inside.
Street artist Tristan Eaton contributed six brightly-coloured portraits of Daenerys Targaryen, layered with dragon scales and patterns symbolising her reign in Meereen.
Pop Chart Lab constructed a manuscript from the show's controversial Red Wedding scene, while sculptor Jeff Nishinaka made a white walker out of paper.
Cast members Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) and Hannah Murray (Gilly) were also in attendance. Behind-the-scenes videos are available on the programme's website.
Back in the UK, yesterday (25 April), to celebrate the UK premiere of season six.
