Global launches deal to promote latest Richard Curtis film

The two week deal kicks off today and will run across all of the Global Radio stations apart from Classic FM. Capital FM, The Hit Network, The Heart Network, The Galaxy Network, LBC, Gold and Xfm will carry live read outs and trails to drive listeners online.

Individual station websites will run a competition to promote the Richard Curtis comedy. The activity will target an wide audience of 15-70 year olds.

Global's Heart network was issued a ‘Yellow Card' from Ofcom last week after failing to play the required amount of recently released music. The station has contested the ruling, saying the watchdog acted before the deadline of response.
