Jose Cuervo partnered with aviation-themed set designer Air Hollywood to turn a 1,500 square foot space in JFK’s Terminal 4 into a bespoke replica airplane. Travellers can stop by the plane to enjoy a tequila cocktail in a first-class retro environment.
To complement the aviation theme, bar staff are dressed as air hostesses and hosts, while the chairs provided for customers are replicas of airline reclining seats.
The pop-up aims to celebrate the role Joe Cuervo played in ‘fuelling’ the Stones’ 1972 tour of North America. It is open from 2.30-8pm, Monday through Saturday until 30 December.
The Rolling Stones Tour Plane pop-up is the second in a year-long series of brand experiences for Jose Cuervo, and an extention of last month’s launch of the its limited edition Especial and Reserva de la Familia Rolling Stones Tour Picks bottles. Guests can also purchase these drinks to take home or on holiday with them at the experience.
