The Cartoon Network channel, which broadcasts the Powerpuff Girls animated television series, is using the pop-up to mark the global launch of an updated Powerpuff Yourself avatar-maker. It allows fans to create their own Powerpuff avatar followed by a series of fun and engaging questions to reveal their uniquely named Powfactor special ingredient.
The pop-up shop will open its doors in New York this Friday (18 November) and will run for three days, until the 20 November. Fans visiting the pop-up can experience the new Powerpuff Yourself maker and be able to exclusively print their personally created avatar on merchandise including t-shirts, coffee mugs and bags, as well as purchasing badges symbolising their special ingredient. Additionally, exclusive The Powerpuff Girls products and limited edition designs will be available.
The global update of the avatar-maker includes refreshed categories and over 100 new personalisations and is translated into 26 languages. The avatar was released yesterday (16 November) in the United States, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
In June, to celebrate animated cult series, Adventure Time. The channel also celebrated the new series of animated children's TV show, Ben 10, with , launched last month.
