Glenfiddich launches TV ad campaign

Glenfiddich is launching its first TV advertising work in the UK since 1997. The ad uses the theme 'the independent spirit', which featured in the global campaign in November 2001. The press ads featured a Glenfiddich stag in various urban settings. The new TV work continues the theme, with an elegant stag contrasted against vibrant, cosmopolitan street scenes. The campaign will extend to cinemas, posters and the internet with the aim of building the stag as a symbol of the brand. A print version will complement the TV campaign. The ad launches in November in the UK with a roll-out to global markets during 2003. Creative is by McCann-Erickson and media is by John Ayling & Associates.
