GlaxoSmithKline launches Horlicks ad
GlaxoSmithKline has launched a £1.5m TV ad campaign this week for its hot drink brand, Horlicks. The work, the first in four years, is by Grey London and aims to attract a younger audience. The ads feature three individuals - a traffic warden, a baggage-handler and a bus driver - who all sleep well despite a guilty conscience. In the executions, the three behave badly, prompting the question 'How do they sleep at night?' The ads then cut to the three drinking Horlicks before bed, with the strapline 'Horlicks could help anyone get a restful night's sleep'. Media is by MediaCom. This week also saw GlaxoSmithKline launch a children's hot drink, Snoozoo, which is available in chocolate, strawberry and banana flavours.
