George P Johnson reports 16% rise in turnover

Experience marketing agency George P Johnson (GPJ) UK has reported a 16% year-on-year increase in turnover to £34.1m for 2015.

Gross profit at grew 6% to £2.9m, while operating profit for the same 12-month period rose by 42% to £345,708. Profit for the year, after taxation, amounted to £733,379, compared to £147,000 in 2014. 

The report stated that the agency does "not foresee any material effect as a result of Brexit."

Jason Megson, managing director of GPJ, said: "Our 2015 results are a clear and tangible indication that our investments in creative, strategy and digital talent are starting to pay off. We expect 2016 financials to support a continuation of this growth trend, plus we will see the opening up of some exciting new service offerings at GPJ."
