'The Alan Titchmarsh Show' is in its tenth series on ITV and features the veteran presenter interviewing celebrities and debating topical issues, as well as presenting cooking demonstrations and gardening tips.
In addition to the on-air sponsorship bumpers, Genes Reunited will have branding on the show's online and mobile sites, and promotional activity for the show, which runs every weekday for 10 weeks from today.
The sponsorship was negotiated by Brightsolid's media agency, Havas-owned Arena Media, and the idents were created by Elastic Creative and produced by Greenroom Films.
John Robertson, marketing director for Brightsolid, said: "'The Alan Titchmarsh Show' and its audience is a perfect fit with the Genes Reunited brand. As one of the UK's leading family history research websites, we are committed to helping people connect with their past and we are looking forward to working with ITV once again."
Brightsolid, which is a division of the Beano-publisher DC Thomson, bought Genes Reunited and sister site Friends Reunited from ITV for £25m in 2009, £95m less than ITV paid for it in 2005.
Pedro Avery, chief investment officer at Arena Media, said: "Our research has highlighted the importance of TV sponsorship in delivering communications goals, and we are delighted by Genes Reunited sponsoring 'The Alan Titchmarsh Show'."
