The offering, which follows investment in "innovative technology" by the group, will be available across GCap's entire portfolio of stations including Classic FM, Capital Radio, Xfm and The One Network, from Monday next week.
While commercials are playing, messages such as contact details will be shown on the digital radio's screens.
The initiative follows extensive trials in recent months, and is one of the first to be launched following the restructure of GCap's national sales team in February which was designed to focus on the company's multi-platform offering.
DAB text is in its infancy as a commercial platform and is normally used for station contact messages, track information and other editorial content.
Recent research by the Radio Advertising Bureau showed nearly 70% of DAB listeners have used the text display to find out more information about what they are listening to, and more than 40% have subsequently used that information.
